The site is, in itself, an analogy with the meal in its art of instrumenting. It composes, harmonizes, and governs new precepts. From its design is born a decameronian garden where the different stories take place in the different rooms where living beings and objects cohabit. Thus, it is crossed like a cycle in the course of the narration. This cycle is similar to the four seasons which are renamed here under the Awakening (l'Eveil), the Love Fulfilled (l'Amour Epanoui), the Melancholic Drunkenness (l'Ivresse mélancolique) and the Intermission (l'Enracte) acting as spatio-temporal markers of the content of the meals in the day.

The awakening marks the abundance of vegetable dishes turning into a floral orgy. The guests enjoy a bitter tasting nature but with a bewitching charm that makes it exquisite. Behind these diaphanous veils we distinguish expressive and colorful silhouettes that act in performance.

Love in full bloom is a time that spreads the meal over the whole garden, letting voluptuousness discover itself in the shade of the orchard, at the edge of the pond. Sensuality exhales and spreads its floral and fruity perfume, preparing to be picked and tasted on a tablecloth.

The euphoric feast is suitable to the melancholic drunkenness. The mood is to festivity, to debauchery. Drunkenness comes from the garden of the simple ones, whose the power of its plants does not cease intoxicating our playful guests. The walls are also awake and overflowing until they too invite themselves to dinner.

The nature that one would think dead during the intermission is stored and framed in a maze of rooms. One can then observe it from a distance, turn around it, see it from above. At the end of the day, each guest must keep the rest of his meal to display it in the last curiosity. The time is for commemoration. Illuminated by candles, the table reveals the last pieces of festivities until the wax until the wax excudes and comes to cover the marble of its memory freezing then this ultimate feast.

"If a raft had hit a mirage, it would have discovered a garden. A luxuriant enclosure offering food and rest to humans, satisfying their primitive appetite. A place of happy enjoyment cultivating delights. A delectable nature arousing man's greed, but which he was destined to submit to rituals. To reunite. Perhaps that was the purpose of this mischievous fruit. Biting the apple was a selfish act. Finally, is greediness sinful if it is disguised as a festive banquet? Aren't they greedy, all of them sitting at the table, those whose glass oozes so much that it could dissolve it. Drunk? Hm, they are euphoric. They raise their glasses to melancholy, to casualness, to the passions that guide our desires, to the hope and audacity of the coming seasons."
